Photo: Skanda Gautam\/ THT<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The day is celebrated to express gratitude towards Gurus, said theologist and chairman of the Panchanga Nirnayak Samiti, Nepal Prof Dr Ram Chandra Gautam.<\/p>\n<p>As per Hindu values, seniors in terms of knowledge, strength and experience are also respected as teachers.
