{"id":1564,"date":"2016-02-15T16:35:51","date_gmt":"2016-02-15T16:35:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/globalpress.hinduismnow.org?p=1561&amp;preview_id=1561"},"modified":"2016-02-15T16:35:51","modified_gmt":"2016-02-15T16:35:51","slug":"jnu-row-a-result-of-conspiracy-rss","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/globalpress-new.hinduismnow.org\/?p=1564","title":{"rendered":"JNU row a result of conspiracy: RSS"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<h2>&#8216;How students indulging in anti-national sloganeering came up in JNU, which is known as a temple of learning.&#8217;<\/h2>\n<p class=\"body\">Amid a row over an event at JNU, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh leader Dattatreya Hosabale has alleged that it was a result of a \u201cconspiracy\u201d and those who raised slogans in support of Pakistan and Afzal Guru are \u201ctraitors\u201d and should be charged with treason.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body\">Students participating in such sloganeering must be dealt with strictly, he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body\">Speaking at the Mahanagar Swayamsewak Sangam here on Sunday, the RSS Joint General Secretary wondered how a generation of students indulging in anti-national sloganeering came up in an institution, which is known as a temple of learning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body\">Mr. Hosabale alleged that the JNU event was a result of a \u201cconspiracy\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body\"><b>Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh had on Sunday unleashed a political storm <\/b>with a claim that the event at JNU to protest the hanging of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru had received \u201csupport\u201d from LeT founder Hafiz Saeed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body\">Hitting out at the Congress, Mr. Hosable said the party which was responsible for converting the whole country into a \u201cjail\u201d in 1975 now talks about freedom of expressions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body\">Asking Swayamsevaks to fight the challenges faced by the nation, he said the country is facing danger from inside and outside by \u201canti-national\u201d elements.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body\">Hinduism is not a religion but a way to life, he said, adding the world is a family and to bring social harmony society has to come forward.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body\">The RSS had on Sunday made a veiled attack on the Congress and the Left over their stand on the JNU row, saying some political leaders are \u201ccondoning anti-national acts instead of demanding action against them\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body\">RSS spokesperson Manmohan Vaidya had termed as \u201cserious\u201d what he claimed was students engaging in \u201canti-India activities\u201d on the campus of a central university and some teachers supporting them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body\">\u201cAt the expense of exchequer money, instead of studying, students are involving themselves in anti-India activities and some teachers are supporting them.
