A team from a UK-based Sikh volunteers\u2019 group started cleaning the gold plating on Golden Temple that has been affected by pollution, here on Thursday. The 20-member team from Birmingham\u2019s Nishkam Sewak Jatha, which was assigned the sewa (service) by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee last month, will only work on the sanctum sanctorum of Harmandar Sahib and take a week, working from 8am to 6 pm.<\/p>\n
