If\nyou feel there is something other than you existing, you may have\nfear or feeling. If you feel the other part will complete you, you\nwill start developing romance towards it. If you think the other\npart will be threatening you, you will start developing fear towards\nit.<\/p>\n\n\n
The concept you have about you play a very important, major role, in the way you live, the way you exist. What you experience about you decides your attitude about life.<\/p>\n\n\n
The\nsixth verse of the Ishavashya Upanishad declares \u201cOne who, indeed,\nlives by seeing as it is the whole Existence, all manifest and\nunmanifest beings existing in the Consciousness itself, and the\nConsciousness existing in the whole Existence, thus does not feel\nviolated or hates anything existing, by virtue of not seeing oneself\nas separate from Consciousness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n
The\ntruth is \u201ceverything exists in you and you exist in everything\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n The above statement is one of the most important principles of Vedic Tradition. You might have heard of this in many books, but you should not mistake hearing this same principle in many books and hearing it from the Upanishads. Upanishads is the ultimate declaration. It is God speaking. The same word, when it is said by different people, it has a different value.<\/p>\n\n\n Everyone\nis ultimately a mirror of you, and if you change, everyone will\nchange. Don\u2019t think in a roundabout way: \u2018If everyone changes, I\nwill also change.\u2019 Start from you. Everyone will also start\nchanging. This becomes a beautiful virtuous circle in you. But if\nyou are waiting for the change to happen from the other, others will\nnot change; because of that, you will not change. It will become a\nvicious circle.\n<\/p>\n\n\n The\ntruth is \u201ceverything exists in you\u201d. There are two methods to\nrealize this truth.<\/p>\n\n\n \nIf\nyou feel, \u2018Everything exists in me\u2019, fear and greed will start\ncoming up. \u2018Oh, if everything exists in me, why will the tiger\nattack me? Why will the lion attack me?\u2019\n<\/p>\n\n\n With this method, you will think, \u2018No, I will see my body and mind separately. Whatever happens, happens. It is just an Existence. If this body needs to be alive, that will leave it alive. Otherwise, it will kill.\u2019 <\/p>\n\n\n \u2018No, this body and that body, both have same Consciousness, and with this clarity, I will decide what that body has to do and this body has to do and make it function smoothly.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n The\nunderstanding that happens by using these methods, when it becomes\nmatured cognition, they manifest as powers in you. Blessed are those\nwho decide to start the change. Cursed are those who are waiting for\nthe other person to change.
