The Trust donated Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister Relief <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freepressjournal.in\/mumbai\/temples-hold-up-torch-in-fight-against-coronavirus-shirdis-shri-sai-baba-sansthan-trust-donates-rs-51-crore\">Fund<\/a>. \u201cOur main motive is to strengthen the government\u2019s plan to recover from the catastrophe and provide food to the poor people,&#8221; said Trust\u2019s secretary Acharya Kishore Kunal.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Earlier, Siddhivinayak Temple Trust in Mumbai celebrated Gudi Padwa distributed food and bottled water to police personnel who were on lockdown duty.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>The Central Reserve Police Force (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.freepressjournal.in\/mumbai\/temples-hold-up-torch-in-fight-against-coronavirus-shirdis-shri-sai-baba-sansthan-trust-donates-rs-51-crore\">CRPF)<\/a> on Thursday donated Rs 33.81 crore to the Prime Minister\u2019s Relief Fund after all its personnel unanimously decided to contribute one day salary towards combating coronavirus.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-background has-cyan-bluish-gray-color has-very-light-gray-background-color\">Image Source: www.dnaindia.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In a bid to stop the spread of coronavirus in Maharashtra, authorities at Shirdi&#8217;s Saibaba Temple had decided to close the temple for its devotees from March 17, Free Press Journal has reported.
