Everything\nin life is nothing but a freedom struggle. Society teaches that\nsuccumbing to and constantly feeding patterns that bind us is the way\nto experience freedom. Look at the products that are out there to\ngratify our senses. But, freedom is all about feeling larger and\nlarger number of people, places, spaces, as part of you. This\narticle talks about the science and the technique to experience\n\u2018Complete Freedom\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n

Reality as Stated by Upanishads<\/h2>\n\n\n

Our\nreal nature is freedom. The experience of freedom comes from the\nspace of not feeling violated. The 6th<\/sup>\nverse of the Isavasya Upanishad says that this experience happens\nwhen we see that we are in everything and everything is in us. There\nis absolutely no separation.<\/p>\n\n\n

If this is reality, why don\u2019t I experience it\nnow?<\/h2>\n\n\n

This\ntruth cannot be attained by \u201cnon-working lazy belief\u201d. This is\nthe usual so-called faith of the modern-day middle-class, neo\nmiddle-class. We say, \u2018If it is true, let it work immediately.\u2019\nWe miss the preparation to experience reality, but expect everything\nshould happen in a jiffy. This is \u201cnon-working lazy belief\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n

The nature of freedom<\/h2>\n\n\n

Freedom\nis the feeling that larger and larger number of people, places,\nspaces, as part of you. Freedom means, expanding the boundary you\nfeel about you.

\n<\/p>\n\n\n

Everyone\nis using something to experience freedom. A rich man uses his money,\nand when more and more people are dependent on his money, he feels\nthat his freedom is expanding and they are all under him. A person\nwho identifies with a political party, he feels everyone in that\nparty is under him, and that his freedom has expanded. A person who\nidentifies with a language or a State, he feels that whole zone is\nhis freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u2018Complete\nFreedom\u2019 comes from feeling ONE with the whole cosmos. There is no\nsense of violation or struggle in that state.<\/p>\n\n\n

How to attain Complete Freedom?<\/h2>\n\n\n

When\nit comes to people that we love and those who love us, we have three\ntypes of relatedness with them. They are people with whom:<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. \nYou\n\tfeel love, but they don\u2019t reciprocate.\n\t<\/li>
  2. \nYou\n\tfeel you love them and they are also reciprocate you. This is the\n\thappy-happy situation.\n\t<\/li>
  3. \nYou\n\tfeel they love you, they suffocate you, but you don\u2019t feel love\n\ttowards them.\n<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n

    For\neach one of the above categories of relatedness, do the following\nsteps:<\/p>\n\n\n

    1. \nRemember\n\teach person.\n\t
      1. \nWhat\n\t\tare the patterns he \/ she evokes in you?\n\t\t<\/li>
      2. \nWhen\n\t\tdid those patterns start happening in you?\n\t\t<\/li>
      3. \nWhen\n\t\tdid you start building those patterns and with whom?\n\t<\/li><\/ol>\n\t<\/li>
      4. \nTrace\n\tback.\n\t<\/li>
      5. \nPen\n\tdown the patterns and those incidents.\n<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n

        What will be the outcome?<\/h2>\n\n\n

        When\nyou do these three exercises for all three categories, you will\nunderstand that the whole thing is a lie, \u201cmithya\u201d. \u201cLie\u201d is\ntoo small a word. A lie is saying \u201cthe pot is white\u201d when one is\nactually looking at a black one. \u201cMithya\u201d is giving an elaborate\ndescription about a pot when the pot even does not exist.<\/p>\n\n\n

        When\nyou do these three steps, you will understand the whole thing is\n\u201cmithya\u201d. Because, every point is a lie. Like, whom you say you\nlove is a lie, whom you think the person is not responding to your\nlove is a lie, whom you say you love and he also responds is a lie.\nThe whole thing, every inch, you will understand, is a lie.<\/p>\n\n\n

        \nThen\nsimply you will catch the glimpse of:<\/p>\n\n\n

        • \nwhatever\n\tgood outside is inside you,\n\t<\/li>
        • \nwhatever\n\tbad outside is inside you,\n\t<\/li>
        • \nwhatever\n\tgood inside is outside you, and\n\t<\/li>
        • \nwhatever\n\tbad inside is outside you.\n<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n

          Experience of Complete Freedom<\/h2>\n\n\n

          You\nwill have such big freedom and restful awareness; \u2018Wow! Then I can\ndo as I want! I can play as I want! Everything is in me!\u2019 This\nwill make you experientially understand that what is stated in the\n6th<\/sup>\nverse of Isavasya Upanishad is THE TRUTH.<\/p>\n\n\n
