Society sets the
expectation in us that there is an end to what you are doing now and
then you will enjoy life. Study well, you will be fine. Get a good
job, you will be fine. Get married and you will settle down. Have a
car and a house, you will be fine. Save for your retirement, you are
fine. Get enough insurance and so on. On the contrary, Universe is
expanding all the time. It has no tiredness and boredom. It is easy
to see that society trains us to be out of sync with the Universe.
This is at the root of our suffering. This article talks about the
one thing that we should never stop doing.

Where are we stuck?

The
9th
verse of the Isa Upanishad throws light on this. It states that
those who said YES to ignorance are immersed in blinding darkness;
but those who think they are “learned”, immerse themselves in
even greater darkness. When we declare that we “know”, our
seeking stops and that is the death knell for knowledge to get
revealed and express through us.

Are there people who are not in this trap?

An
enlightened being is one who has broken this societal trap. An
enlightened being is a person whose mind has disappeared so (s)he
constantly goes through new experiences and expands by continuously
seeking. The key word is “seeking.” In who the capacity ‘not
to seek’ has disappeared is an enlightened being.

In
us, still there is a part of our mind which can put us in boredom or
tiredness. This can make us stop seeking one day. This is why we
are still seekers. If the seeking becomes eternal, there will be no
part of the mind that exists to make us bored or tired. This ensures
that one will be a seeker forever. That state makes one an
enlightened being.

The Practice

Universe
is a happening. Even all enlightened beings continue to seek. If
even enlightened beings are expanding, seeking, happening, then, you
should be seeking. Kill all parts of you trying to become stagnant.
Any stagnation is disease. With your body, if you are able to bend
40 degrees, make it at least 41 degrees the next day; don’t
stagnate. With your mind, if you are able to understand some
concepts for five minutes, make it at least 6 minutes the next day.
Killing all parts of stagnation in you by the constant inspiration
and excitement is seeking.

What should not ever be stopped?

Any
moment, if you stop seeking, you start worshipping ignorance. Never
stop seeking. Seeking should become your very being. Keep
constantly looking for reality. Don’t allow any stagnation; all
stagnation is stupidity. Stagnation is stupidity. If somebody is
stuck, that is hell, the most cursed space.

Stop
the worship of ignorance, never stop your seeking for any reason. Let
your seeking be continued.

Keep
your seeking alive. Awaken continuously!

Based on satsangs delivered by rare Living Incarnation Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam

http://nithyananda.org/video/seeking-awakens-super-human-you

Satsang : 18th April 2015

See other
Satsangs at http://youtube.com/lifeblissfoundation

Society trains us to be out of sync with the Universe.
