{"id":24327,"date":"2016-11-05T11:10:24","date_gmt":"2016-11-05T05:40:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/globalpress.hinduismnow.org?p=24324&amp;preview_id=24324"},"modified":"2016-11-05T11:10:24","modified_gmt":"2016-11-05T05:40:24","slug":"court-appointed-expert-panel-to-decide-on-temple-renovation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/globalpress-new.hinduismnow.org\/?p=24327","title":{"rendered":"Court-appointed expert panel to decide on temple renovation"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>The Madras High Court has decided to constitute an expert committee to look into the applications from various temples across the State seeking permission to carry out \u201cessential works\u201d for the maintenance of the temples, since the court has temporarily restrained the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department (HR&amp;CE) from carrying out renovation works.<\/p>\n<p>The First Bench of Chief Justice S.K. Kaul and Justice R.
