Head should be up and\n\teyes open\n\t<\/li><li>\n\tTake a deep breath in and exhale completely, but do not be forceful\n\t<\/li><li>\n\tAfter exhaling, perform jaalandhara bandha by moving the chin down\n\tto the chest and raising the shoulders\n\t<\/li><li>\n\tPull the abdominal muscles inward so that the organs of the abdomen\n\ttouch the back muscles\n\t<\/li><li>\n\tHold for as long as you can\n\t<\/li><li>\n\tWhen you can\u2019t hold anymore, before inhaling, relax the stomach\n\tand abdomen, release jaalandhara bandha by raising the head\n\t<\/li><li>\n\tThen inhale through the nostrils slowly\n\t<\/li><li>\n\tBefore repeating another round, breathe normally for a minute or two\n\t<\/li><li>\n\tInitially start with practising the sequence 3 times and gradually\n\tincrease upto 10 times\n<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n<p>\n<strong>IN ANILA ASANA, <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p>\n<strong>NEXT-<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<h3>\n<strong>3.\nBHASTRIKAA KUMBHAKA<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>\nGERHANDA SAMHITA, UPADESHA 5, VERSE 75-77\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p>\n<strong>TECHNIQUE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<ol><li>\n\tInhale slowly expanding the stomach\n\t<\/li><li>\n\tExhale slowly\n\t<\/li><li>\n\tDo this 21 times\n\t<\/li><li>\n\tAfter 21 times, Now inhale slowly\n\t<\/li><li>\n\t Hold the breath as long as you can\n\t<\/li><li>\n\t When you feel you can\u2019t hold quickly expel the air with the sound\n\tof bellows. At this moment the stomach should contract to touch the\n\tback  (This is one Bhastrikaa)\n\t<\/li><li>\n\tDo this complete sequence 3 times\n<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n<p>\n<strong>IN ANILA ASANA, NEXT-<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<h3>\n<strong>4.\nMOORCCHAA KUMBHAKA<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>\nHATHA PRADEEPIKAA, CHAPTER 4, VERSE 60 (More)<\/p>\n\n\n<p>\n<strong>TECHNIQUE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<p>1.     Sit in same asana<\/p>\n\n\n<p>2. Place the palms of the hands on the knees and close the eyes<\/p>\n\n\n<p>3. Inhale slowly and deeply through both nostrils<\/p>\n\n\n<p>4. After inhaling, immediately, do jaalandhara Bandha by putting your chin on the chest and locking the throat  <\/p>\n\n\n<p>5.  Hold the breath as long as you can, When you feel you cant hold, immediately exhale through  both nostrils in a very controlled manner in jaalandhara bandha itself<\/p>\n\n\n<p>6. Do this 21 times  <\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>IN ANILA ASANA, NEXT-<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<h3><strong>5.
