{"id":37250,"date":"2017-02-16T13:23:03","date_gmt":"2017-02-16T07:53:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/globalpress.hinduismnow.org\/?p=37250"},"modified":"2017-02-16T13:23:03","modified_gmt":"2017-02-16T07:53:03","slug":"yoga-training-bsf-soldiers-use-ramdevs-patanjali-products","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/globalpress-new.hinduismnow.org\/?p=37250","title":{"rendered":"After yoga training, BSF soldiers to use Ramdev\u2019s Patanjali products"},"content":{"rendered":"<article class=\"story-details\">After yoga skills, BSF troops will use products prepared by Baba Ramdev-promoted \u2018Patanjali\u2019 FMCG brand as the border guarding force is set to open over a dozen such stores in its campuses across the country.The first such \u2018shop\u2019 was inaugurated on Wednesday at a Border Security Force (BSF) camp in New Delhi.<br \/>\nThe BSF Wives Welfare Association (BWWA) has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with \u201cPatanjali Ayurved Limited, Haridwar for sale of items of Patanjali through BWWA Patanjali shops spread across various BSF locations all over India\u201d.<br \/>\nA BSF statement said the MoU also has a provision for discounts on sale to the country\u2019s largest border guarding force personnel and their families.<br \/>\n\u201cIt is a kind gesture of Pantanjali Ayurved Limited, Haridwar to sell various Patanjali products at discounted prices varying from 15 per cent-28%,\u201d it said.<br \/>\nMore such stores, under the aegis of BWWA, will be opened at BSF\u2019s campuses in Agartala, Tekanpur (Gwalior), Guwahati, Jodhpur, Siliguri, Jalandhar, Kolkata, Jammu, Bangalore, Silchar, Ahmedabad, Hazaribagh and Indore.<br \/>\nBWWA president and wife of BSF director general KK Sharma, Renu Sharma, inaugurated the first store .<br \/>\nLast year, BSF, the about 2.5 lakh personnel-strong force that guards Indian borders along Pakistan and Bangladesh, had trained over 2,000 of its jawans and officers at Ramdev\u2019s Patanjali institute in Uttarakhand\u2019s Haridwar after these physical fitness drills were made mandatory for them.<br \/>\nRamdev\u2019s Patanjali food park produces several fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and processed food items like chyawanprash, condiments, ghee and other items and the facility in Haridwar is guarded by an armed squad of another paramilitary, CISF.<br \/>\nRamdev himself enjoys a VIP security cover from the CRPF.<br \/>\n<\/article>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After yoga skills, BSF troops will use products prepared by Baba Ramdev-promoted \u2018Patanjali\u2019 FMCG brand as the border guarding force is set to open over a dozen such stores in its campuses across the country.The first such \u2018shop\u2019 was inaugurated on Wednesday at a Border Security Force (BSF) camp in New Delhi.
