Mumbai :<\/strong> In the year 2013, riots took place in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh and few fanatics have prepared an inflammatory documentary film titled \u2018Muzaffarnagar Abhi Baaki Hai\u2019 based on those riots. Few leftist organizations have been showing this film in Maharashtra. The film should be banned, is the demand made by Hindu<\/span> Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) through a representation submitted by Shri. Satish Sonar, HJS activist from Mumbai and Shri. Arvind Pansare, its State spokesperson to Shri. Prakash Mehta, Minister (Housing) and Guardian Minister of Raigad District. Shri. Mehta promised to take necessary action in this connection.<\/p>\n It has been stated in the representation that<\/p>\n 1.On 27th February 2016, Maharashtra State Committees of Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) and Students Federation of India (SFI) staged shows of objectionable and communal documentary film titled \u2018Muzaffarnagar Abhi Baaki Hai\u2019 in many districts of Maharashtra including Worli, Bhandup, Andheri, Ghatkopar in Mumbai and Ulhasnagar (Dist. Thane).<\/p>\n 2.This film shows communal violence staged in Muzaffarnagar and surrounding areas in Uttar Pradesh in the year 2013, deliberately showing anti-Hindu<\/span> incidents such as how Hindus oppressed Muslims, destroyed their houses, molested their women, damaged their prayer houses etc. which can cause communal disharmony. The film is controversial as it shows only one side of the coin to influence and mislead youth. There are interviews of Muslim men and women shown in this film.<\/p>\n 3. It shows that riots take place only wherever BJP and Shiv Sena are in power. In this film, speeches given by BJP\u2019s national President Shri. Amit Shah and Sadhvi Prachi are shown as \u2018hate-speeches\u2019; depicting that only Narendra Modi is responsible for the riots. Posters like \u2018Modi Lao Desh Bachao\u2019 are also shown in between this film.<\/p>\n 4. Presently, terrorist organizations like ISIS are showing this film to provoke Muslim youth and many youth are falling prey to such propaganda.<\/p>\n Demands<\/strong><\/p>\n 1. Ban should be immediately imposed on such controversial film which is aimed at generating communal hatred.<\/p>\n 2. It should be checked whether such anti-Hindu documentary film has been given certification by Censor Board. If so, it should be immediately cancelled.<\/p>\n 3. If there is no certificate, case should be filed promptly and its screening on \u2018You-Tube\u2019 and other social websites should be immediately blocked.<\/p>\n 4. Cases should be filed against the concerned office bearers of DYFI and SFI who are creating communal disharmony and stringent legal action should be taken against them.<\/p>\n 5.
