{"id":39427,"date":"2017-02-20T11:50:44","date_gmt":"2017-02-20T06:20:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/globalpress.hinduismnow.org\/?p=39427"},"modified":"2017-02-20T11:50:44","modified_gmt":"2017-02-20T06:20:44","slug":"itll-great-explore-india-yoga-rosberg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/globalpress-new.hinduismnow.org\/?p=39427","title":{"rendered":"It\u2019ll be great to explore India and do Yoga: Rosberg"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"intro\">Doesn\u2019t rule out reconciliation with Hamilton<\/h2>\n<div id=\"content-body-14269002-17331340\">\nA practitioner of meditation, Formula One champion Nico Rosberg says he is keen to explore India some day and may even look at pursuing yoga for strengthening his mind and body.<br \/>\nRosberg, whose F1 career spanned 11 seasons, finished second in 2014 and 2015 before he finally bagged the Formula One World Championship title last year and the 31-year-old gave a lot of credit to \u2018meditation\u2019 for his success.<br \/>\n<b>\u2018That little bit extra\u2019<\/b><br \/>\n\u201cI have always been exploring that area because we are training our bodies flat out but yet we don\u2019t do that much for our minds, so it\u2019s possible to do that extra for your minds.<br \/>\nSo I went for it with a mental trainer and it gave me that little bit extra you know,\u201d said Rosberg on the eve of the Laureus World Sports awards.<br \/>\nAsked if he is planning to pursue yoga as well, Rosberg said: \u201cYoga and meditation is quite similar. Meditation has given me something extra in my life. It will be great to explore India some day and do Yoga, the Indian way of exploring this training.\u201d<br \/>\nHaving ended runner-up in 2014 and 2015, Rosberg vowed to avoid such disappointments and had hired a mind management specialist. He started to practice meditation, which ultimately played a key role in him winning the F1 championship.<br \/>\n<b>Better relationship?<\/b><\/p>\n<div id=\"inarticle_wrapper_div\"><\/div>\n<p>Rosberg also suggested his own long-standing rivalry with Lewis Hamilton, which started when they were teenagers in karting, had added friction.<br \/>\nBut the German did not rule out a reconciliation with the three-times world champion.<br \/>\n\u201cThe competition has gone completely, sadly. We\u2019ve already had some nice, relaxed moments and who knows, I am open to having a better relationship with him again in the future,\u201d he said.<br \/>\n\u201cWe were best friends after all, 15 years ago.\u201dAgencies<br \/>\n<i><b>Yoga and meditation is quite similar.
