{"id":39884,"date":"2017-02-21T16:05:41","date_gmt":"2017-02-21T10:35:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/globalpress.hinduismnow.org\/?p=39884"},"modified":"2017-02-21T16:05:41","modified_gmt":"2017-02-21T10:35:41","slug":"temple-bans-reporters-3-tv-stations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/globalpress-new.hinduismnow.org\/?p=39884","title":{"rendered":"Temple bans reporters from 3 TV stations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"preParagraph\">The embattled Wat Phra Dhammakaya has banned news reporters from three television stations from entering the temple compound, without giving a reason why.<\/p>\n<p>The ban was posted on &#8220;News Wat Phra Dhammakaya&#8221; LINE group, a channel between the mass media and the temple&#8217;s communications office.<br \/>\nThe three television stations named in the post are: Tnews, Nation and Amarin TV.<br \/>\nNotice of the ban, effective from today, was also posted on the Facebook page of the communications office of Wat Phra Dhammakaya, which is headed by Phra Sanitwong Wuthiwangso.<br \/>\nReporters from all media outlets quickly asked the temple to explain, but received no response.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, Phra Sanitwong posted a message on his Facebook page claiming he had been warned via \u00a0social media \u00a0there might be interference by people from a &#8220;third party&#8221;.
