Chennai, Mar 7 (PTI) Sanskrit is simple yet versatile and has therefore been accepted globally in the context of digital performance for a langauge, Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said today.
\n\u201cSanskrit can be simple and at the same time versatile.
\nThat is one of the reasons today in the digital era we have realised what versatility this language has, that it is best accepted globally for anything to do with digital performance for a language,\u201d she said.
\nNo other language, European or others including Indian, \u201creally can stand up to the challenges of language blending with the digital demand,\u201d she said unveiling the digital campus of the 111-year old Madras Sanskrit College here.
\n\u201cAnd that is where Sanskrit scores far ahead becuase it is very structured,\u201d and due to a unique grammar, she said.
\nThe ancient language \u201chas adapted to technology so easily,\u201d she added.
\nThe college said it had partnered with \u2018Classle\u2019, a digital learning solution provider, to make Sanskrit available for all through its digital platform.
