A Pakistani propaganda website \u2018Republic of Buzz\u2019 published an article on March 1, 2020, claiming that a Muslim teenage girl named Deeba from Jafrabad area of North-East Delhi was raped by Hindu mobs during the recent anti-Hindu riots in the national capital. This news was widely shared on social media, OpIndia<\/a> has reported.<\/p>\n\n\n

The article claimed that the violent Hindu mob entered<\/a> into Deeba\u2019s residential colony, setting fires to homes and bringing together the Muslims. The 13-year-old Deeba tried to escape and members of the mob ran after her throughout the streets, and then took her to an abandoned cottage nearby. it further wrote that she screamed for help but nobody came to her rescue.<\/p>\n\n\n

The report became viral with so many people sharing this fake news on Twitter. <\/p>\n\n\n

The spokesperson of Telangana-based political party MBT, Amjed Ullah Khan also shared<\/a> the news on his Facebook page. <\/p>\n\n\n

But all the claims made by \u2018Republic of Buzz\u2019 is completely false and baseless. No Muslim girl was raped by Hindu mobs in Delhi\u2019s Jafrabad.<\/p>\n\n\n

In fact, SHO Jafrabad, Satyadev, also clarified that no such incident has been reported in the area. \u201cThis is fake news. Had such an incident occurred, it would have come to our attention,\u201d he said.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n

When a reverse image search of the blurred photo (of the concerned post), the original post on face book captioned, \u2018We are all GIRL\u2019s \u0986\u09ae\u09b0\u09be \u09b8\u09ac\u09be\u0987 \u09ae\u09c7\u09af\u09bc\u09c7\u2019 was found with the real picture of that girl. The page is presumed to be operating from Bangladesh, which has several photos of different women in Hijab. <\/p>\n\n\n

The original picture was uploaded to face book on 28 January, 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n

Republic of Buzz is continuously updating anti-India and anti-Hindu posts on its face book page through unverified reports.<\/p>\n\n\n
