This will be enforced strictly from April 1, as per the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/lifestyle\/travel-tourism\/complete-plastic-ban-in-puris-jagannath-temple-from-april-1\/1889241\/?fbclid=IwAR2156Wf9bo198ZT-_mvDr2OsI-uFqpK5bAyWuPurqw7IYYnl9KCdDCK5R8\">senior official<\/a> of the body.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Moreover the Chief Administrator of  SJTA said that the temple administration has decided to increase the penalty for spitting inside the premises by five times to Rs 500.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>The decisions were taken after a meeting with \u2018Chattisa Nijog\u2019, the apex body of priests of the temple. \u201cDevotees will be provided \u2018prasad\u2019 on leaves,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/lifestyle\/travel-tourism\/complete-plastic-ban-in-puris-jagannath-temple-from-april-1\/1889241\/?fbclid=IwAR2156Wf9bo198ZT-_mvDr2OsI-uFqpK5bAyWuPurqw7IYYnl9KCdDCK5R8\">Kumar<\/a> further added.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Kumar is hopeful that the move will ensure a clean and hygienic environment inside the temple premises of holy Jagannath Temple.
