However he has clarified that this is not from Maharashtra government or Shiv Sena but this is purely a personal contribution in the capacity of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehindu.com\/news\/national\/other-states\/uddhav-thackeray-offers-1-crore-for-ram-temple-in-ayodhya\/article31008709.ece\">&#8216;a Bhakt&#8217;<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n<p> Addressing a\u00a0press conference in Ayodhya, Mr. Thackeray said he has parted ways with the BJP. But he has not parted ways from Hindutva. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>\u201cHindutva and BJP are separate. The meaning of Hindutva is not BJP.\u201d Thackeray <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehindu.com\/news\/national\/other-states\/uddhav-thackeray-offers-1-crore-for-ram-temple-in-ayodhya\/article31008709.ece\">said<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>He said that his contribution is small as compared to the expenditure of Ram Temple construction in Ayodhya. <\/p>\n\n\n<p> \u201cWhenever I come to Ayodhya or the Ram Mandir strikes my mind, I recall the days when my father Balasaheb [Bal Thackeray] had provided leadership&#8230;and when people from villages across Maharashtra brought with them bricks with Sriram engraved on them,\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehindu.com\/news\/national\/other-states\/uddhav-thackeray-offers-1-crore-for-ram-temple-in-ayodhya\/article31008709.ece\">said<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n<p> He requested RamJanmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Temple Trust to accept this small contribution.<\/p>\n\n\n<p> He also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehindu.com\/news\/national\/other-states\/uddhav-thackeray-offers-1-crore-for-ram-temple-in-ayodhya\/article31008709.ece\">requested<\/a> Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to grant land to the Maharashtra government to construct a Maharashtra Bhawan in Ayodhya for pilgrims coming from the State. <\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-background has-cyan-bluish-gray-color has-very-light-gray-background-color\"><em>Image Source<\/em>: Indiatvnews<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday offered \u20b91 crore for the\u00a0construction of Ram Temple\u00a0in Ayodhya, The Hindu has reported.
