Agra: UP Governor Anandiben Patel has urgeded the state tourism department to include the Radha Swami temple, located in Agra\u2019s Dayalbagh in the spiritual tourism circuit. <\/p>\n\n\n

Patel want the temple should get a desired place in the world tourism map. <\/p>\n\n\n

The governor gave this direction <\/a>after viewing a presentation for promotion and development of tourist spots and tourist circuits. Minister of state (independent charge) for tourism and culture Neelkanth Tiwari, senior officers of the tourism department and Raj Bhawan were present during the presentation. <\/p>\n\n\n

Patel asked to broaden the road around the temple and remove encroachments to provide an opportunity to tourists visiting Taj Mahal to go to Radha Swami temple as well. <\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cA large number of foreign tourists come to Agra to visit the Taj Mahal. Such arrangements must be made so that they can also visit Radha Swamy temple there,\u201d she said.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n

UP Governor said that Uttar Pradesh had unlimited opportunities for tourism. So there is a need for development of tourism infrastructure for the purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n

The governor<\/a> noted that 4.7 million foreign tourists visited the state in 2018-2019, adding that the state government should make efforts to take the number to 10 million.<\/p>\n\n\n

Moreover the Up Governor has suggested for making available the golf carts and e-rickshaws for senior citizens Who come to make parikrama of Govardhan Parvat in Mathura. <\/p>\n\n\n

She suggested to create ramps at the ghats in Varanasi to avoid the problem of high steps at the Ganga ghats in Kashi (Varanasi) to make the movement easy for devotees. <\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cGanga aarti at all ghats of Kashi must be conducted together at a fixed time to give the event a magnificent display,\u201d the governor said.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n
