{"id":915,"date":"2020-03-13T15:56:11","date_gmt":"2020-03-13T10:26:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev-global-press.pantheonsite.io\/?p=915"},"modified":"2020-03-13T15:56:11","modified_gmt":"2020-03-13T10:26:11","slug":"sit-arrests-seven-regarding-the-head-constable-ratan-lals-murder-during-delhi-anti-hindu-riots","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/globalpress-new.hinduismnow.org\/?p=915","title":{"rendered":"SIT arrests seven regarding the head constable Ratan Lal\u2019s murder during Delhi anti-Hindu riots"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-background has-cyan-bluish-gray-color has-very-light-gray-background-color\">The names of the suspects are Salim Malik, Mohammad Jalauddin, Mohammad Yunus, Mohammad Ayub, Arif, Danish and Mohammad Salim Khan, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opindia.com\/2020\/03\/delhi-police-sit-riots-ratan-lal-head-constable-murder-dcp-bullet-stone-pelting\/\">OpIndia<\/a> has reported.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>The Special Investigation Teams (SIT) has arrested seven people with respect to the murder of Delhi Police Head Constable Ratan Lal during the recent Delhi anti-Hindu Riots. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>The names of the suspects are Salim Malik, Mohammad Jalauddin, Mohammad Yunus, Mohammad Ayub, Arif, Danish and Mohammad Salim Khan.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>According to reports, out of the seven, six suspected are residents of Chand Bagh area which is right across Yamuna Vihar where HC Ratan Lal was murdered.  <\/p>\n\n\n<p>However Delhi Police informed\u00a0that till now 712 FIRs have been registered and over 200 accused have been arrested. The police further said that they are using technologies like, face recognition to identify the perpetrators. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>On 6th March, it was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.opindia.com\/2020\/03\/delhi-police-sit-riots-ratan-lal-head-constable-murder-dcp-bullet-stone-pelting\/\">reported<\/a>\u00a0that the Delhi police had identified Head constable Ratan Lal\u2019s assassins. ans also identified the rioters who attacked and injured DCP Shahdara IPS Amit Sharma and Delhi police officer ACP Anuj Sharma. More than half a dozen rioters have been identified and Delhi police are now conducting raids at various places in Delhi to nab the perpetrators.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>According to a reports, the SIT crime branch used its local surveillance, CCTV footage and information from eyewitnesses to identify these rioters.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Head constable Ratan Lal lost his life in a bullet injury on February 24 in the Delhi anti Hindu-riots.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Lal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opindia.com\/2020\/03\/delhi-police-sit-riots-ratan-lal-head-constable-murder-dcp-bullet-stone-pelting\/\">belonged <\/a>to Fathepur Tihwali village in Rajasthan\u2019s Sikar district. He had joined Delhi Police as a constable in 1998.
