His body was recovered from a drain near Tahir Hussain\u2019s house on February 26, a day after he went missing, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opindia.com\/2020\/03\/ap-leader-tahir-hussain-ankit-sharma-murder-salman-muslim-mob-delhi-riots\/\">OpIndia<\/a> has reported. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>Delhi police special cell has arrested\u00a0one 23-year-old man, identified as Haseen alias\u00a0Salman, a resident of Nand Nagri, with respect to the murder of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer Ankit Sharma during the anti-Hindu riots. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>Sharma was killed during the northeast Delhi anti-Hindu riots\u00a0in Khajuri Khas. His body was recovered from a drain near Tahir Hussain\u2019s house on February 26, a day after he went missing.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Delhi police\u00a0revealed\u00a0that the Intelligence Bureau sleuth Ankit Sharma was stripped to check his religion before he was brutally murdered.  He had injury marks on his head, chest, and face. After killing Ankit Sharma, the perpetrators poured an acid-like liquid on his body to hide his identity.<\/p>\n\n\n<p> As per the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opindia.com\/2020\/03\/ap-leader-tahir-hussain-ankit-sharma-murder-salman-muslim-mob-delhi-riots\/\">reports<\/a>, the accused who operated with five names \u2013 Salman, Nanhe, Haseen, Momin and Mulla, is currently in police custody at Lodhi colony. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe arrest was made by the special cell after they received some specific information and technical evidence against Haseen, who was earlier arrested in several cases of robbery,\u201d police sources said. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>On March 5th, Delhi Police arrested the suspended AAP councillor Tahir Hussain, who went missing after being charged for the brutal murder of the IB officer Ankit Sharma. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>The Delhi police had filed a case against the AAP leader under Section <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opindia.com\/2020\/03\/ap-leader-tahir-hussain-ankit-sharma-murder-salman-muslim-mob-delhi-riots\/\">302(a) Murder<\/a>, in the Dayalpur police station of Delhi.
