The locker and other valuables were also missing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They used gas cuters and steel blades to cut the iron grille and desecrate the temple, Dhar said, alleging some articles were also damaged.<\/p>\n<p>Forensic experts and a police team has been sent to the spot to investigate the matter and efforts are on to nab the accused, the SP said.<\/p>\n<p>Demanding protection for the shrine, All Party Migrant Coordination Committee (APMCC) and Mata Tripur Sundri Prabandik Committee (MTPC) has condemned the incident.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The police of Kulgam district has failed to protect the shrine.
