Addressing the media, Rizvi said his meeting with the spiritual leader was positive.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-scope\">The meeting is believed to have lasted for one hour and was the second instance where Sri Sri Ravi Shankar met with the Waqf Board Chairman to mediate the burning issue of the Ram Mandir dispute.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-scope\">Rizvi said, \u201cWe are the real stakeholders here,\u201d adding that the board welcomes Sri Sri\u2019s initiative. He went on to say that the construction of the Ram Temple can begin as early as 2018.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-scope\">Speaking to\u00a0<em>Times Now<\/em>, Rizvi lauded Sri Sri, adding that there should be no war over the issue of the Ram Temple. He also went on to say that majority of the Muslims want peace, apart from certain mullahs from the Sunni community.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ng-scope\">&#8220;The whole country respects Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, I am sure the issue will be solved,&#8221; he said.
