According to the police, container number UP-22, T-2955 was going from Bhopal towards Hoshangabad, facebook page, Documenting Crimes Against Hindus has reported.
Simrai, MP; 73 cow calves were recovered from a locked container near village Simrai under the city’s industrial station, Satlapur. The police, taking prompt action, took possession of the container. 2 calves were found dead in it. The remaining 71 calves have been sent to the adjacent Imlia Gaushala.
According to the police, container number UP-22, T-2955 was going from Bhopal towards Hoshangabad. Two-wheeler chased the container due to the rash driving by truck driver, both the driver and the cleaner ran leaving the container to near dhaba in village Sarakia.
Satlapur Police Station Incharge Ramanand Yadav said that at 10:15 am on Monday morning, Sher Singh Rajput and other villagers of Sarakia informed the police about the unclaimed container and the smell came out of it. When the police reached the spot, the inside of the locked container was filled with Calves.
While the top part of the container has been cut from place to place and has been forged to come out of it. In this way, unopened containers from outside were being used for Cattle Smuggling. The police are trying to reach the accused based on the vehicle number.
