In first case, the cattle smugglers fired at police team but police was able to arrest two smugglers. The police team recovered 20 cattles for illegal slaughtering and a country pistol from criminals, facebook page, Documenting Crimes Against Hindus has reported.

Dhan Ghata, Sant Kabeer Nagar, UP: Two beef smugglers were caught while two managed to escape after fire exchanges between police and meat mafia in the area.

As usual the English media has not covered these incidents despite policeman getting injured.

In second incident, the beef smugglers hit SO Randhir Mishra in leg and 2 of them were able to escape. One smuggler Galib was hit as well in police firing and police managed to confiscate pistol, white Bolero and cartridges from spot.

The police has registered cases under attempt to murder, animal cruelty, arms act, CS act among others. It has also announced reward of rs 10000 against the absconding criminals.
