Assam: FIR lodged against a man For faking his identity to marry a Hindu girl

A year after marriage, the victim reportedly came to know that her husband is from the Muslim community and has already married in the past, facebook page, Documenting Crimes Against Hindus has reported.

Geetanagar Police stn., Guwahati, Assam: Guwahati Police on October 26th arrested a man for allegedly faking his identity of being a Hindu to marry a Hindu girl.

The man identified as Zakir Hussai, allegedly introduced himself as Raju Chakraborty to marry the girl from the Hindu community. Hussain tied the knot with the victim a year back at the city’s Sukleswar Temple.

A year after marriage, the victim reportedly came to know that her husband is from the Muslim community and has already married in the past.

Following this, the victim lodged an FIR at the Geetanagar Police Station, based on which the police arrested the accused.

As per allegations, Hussain has already married two other Hindu girls by using his fake name Raju Chakraborty.
