VARANASI: With the possible corona virus spread, Kashi Vishwanath and Annapurna temples have made cleaning hands with handwash and sanitisers compulsory for the devotees before entering the temple premises from Sunday.

As per the official statement of Kashi Vishwanath temple, arrangements for proper cleaning of hands with handwash and applying sanitisers has been taken before the main entry point of the temple, keeping in view the safety of the devotees.

Mahant of Annapurna temple, Shri Rameshwar Puri said that staff and priests at temple as well as the staff at the temple’s food court have been provided mask, besides, arrangements for handwash and sanitiser have also been made at the temple.
