The total numbers of corona virus cases increases to 37 in Maharashtra, TOI has reported.
With the novel coronavirus pandemic claiming more than 6,000 lives globally and infecting more than 100 people in India, Mumbai’s famous Siddhivinayak Temple, Ajanta and Ellora caves and Tuljapur temples in Maharashtra will remain closed for devotees and tourists till further orders. The decision was taken with the Maharashtra government’s appeal to the Siddhivinayak Temple Board.
Earlier, the temple administration of Siddhivinayak were taking precautions to avoid the disease by instructing all its employees to wear masks and hand sanitizers have also been provided to everyone inside the Siddhivinayak temple.
The state government, which has announced the schools and colleges to remain closed in urban areas, now will extend the preventive measures in rural areas also.
However four new cases have been reported as corona virus positive in Maharashtra, out of which three cases are from Navi Mumbai. The total numbers of corona virus cases increases to 37 in Maharashtra.
