Sravana Masam: Vemulawada temple at its finest – The Hindu

Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Devasthanam in Vemulawada has been decked up for the annual festivities in connection with Sravana Masam, which would be held from August 3 to September 1.

The temple authorities have decided to conduct rudra abhishekhams and maha lingarchana
on all Mondays of the month at the shrine. They would also be performing special pujas to goddess Sri Rajeshwari Devi on all Fridays of the month.

They have decided to conduct mass kum kum puja on August 19 for which tickets would be sold at Rs. 250 per head and Raksha bandhan festival would be celebrated on August 18 while Sri Krishna Janmasthami on August 25. The temple authorities said that they were expecting a huge pilgrim rush during the month and have made all the arrangements for the festivities.
