He stated that a large number of women and devotees voluntarily took part in the event and ceremoniously presented bonam to the deity amidst drum beats, Telengana Today has reported.

Mancherial: Nalla Kotamma-Laxmaiah trust organised a ritual, where in Devotees offered bonam to local deity to content her to arrest the spread of coronavirus here on Sunday. 

TRS councilor of 13th ward and president of the trust, Nalla Shankar said that the ceremony was held to worship the goddess with deep devotion, who could protect children, cattle and people from outbreak of deadly corona virus.

He stated that a large number of women and devotees voluntarily took part in the event and ceremoniously presented bonam to the deity amidst drum beats.

BJP Mancherial town’s leader Pusala Venkanna, Ch Shivaram, Panuganti Srinivas, Dabbeta Srinivas, Jetti Charandas, Shravanapelli Suresh, Balakrishna, Boyire Suresh and many others were present.
