Hindu Front Leader has been attacked in Coimbatore

Two motor cycle-borne miscreants attacked Anand with iron rods, knives and swords while he was returning home after attending a pro CAA rally staged at Gandhipuram, a suburb in the communally sensitive Coimbatore city. “He was seriously injured and was admitted to a private hospital where his condition continues to be serious. Our suspicion is centred on activists of Islamic organisations which have been demonstrating against the CAA,” said J S Kishore Kumar, Tamil Nadu Secretary, as reported on Facebook page, Documenting Crimes Against Hinduism.

Attacks on Hindu activists are frequent ever since anti-CAA lobby has led to the outbreak of violence and intimidation as a strategy to suppress Hindu voices.

Incidents of two Hindu activists being attacked while a Hindu Munnani office being targetted with petrol bomb in Coimbatore, have been reported in last 15 days.

RSS secretary, N Suryaprakash was attacked by some unidentified persons in his shop in Podanur area and one Mohammed Hanifa was arrested in this connection.Cases under various sections of IPC 447, 448, 294(b), 307, 506(ii).
were registered against the culprits, police said in a release Tuesday.

Earlier on 5th march, an attack took place on Madukkarai Anand (32), district secretary of Hindu Front (an umbrella organisation of all Hindu outfits in the State) late Wednesday night.
