The COO of SunTV, Hansraj Saxena, has confessed to his company having created and morphed the video of Paramahamsa Nithyananda Swami for the purpose of  defaming him and for extortion.  The COO had given this confession to both the Media and to the Police Commissioner of Chennai.

Later on he has said the same in a signed affidavit to the District Court of California thereby  completely exposing the conspiracy against Sri Paramahamsa Nithyananda.  The attack on Swami Nithyananda is one in the line of many such attacks by atheists such as the Sun TV and people with other religious affiliations against Hindu Gurus.  Last year the Sankaracharya of Kanchi, Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal was acquitted, after a long trial for 9 years, by the high court of Tamil Nadu of the charges of murder that were leveled on him by vested interests. Kanchi seers acquitted in Sankararaman case – TheHindu, Nov 28, 2013

Apart from this charge of morphing and extortion that Swami Nithyandanda had accused him of, Saxena had also been arrested on the charges of cheating many including a film distributor from Salem. EconomicTimes, 13 July 2011

Vijay TV, a popular Tamil Channel in South India and Aaj Tak a widely distributed news agency from the north of India had publicly tendered apologies to Sri Nithyananda and actress Ranjitha for spreading the fake video and related news.
