Mar 28, 2020

Mangaluru police in association with Ramakrishna Mission has launched an innovative campaign to create awareness among the violators of nation wide lockdown, enforced to arrest the spread of deadly corona pandemic, reports by Swarajya.

Those who are found of violating the lockdown rules, are made to hold a placard, “I am guilty. I have violated the lockdown orders” by Mangaluru police in association with Ramkrishna Mission.

This is an initiative to prevent people from stepping onto the roads, Mangaluru Commissioner of Police Dr P S Harsha said.

Also, a WhatsApp group has been created with the name “Team against Covid-19” to spread awareness on coronavirus and educate people on the importance of social distancing and sanitisation.
