Two priests were brutally assaulted by ten goons today after they tried stopping them from stealing from the temple.

The incident got recorded in the CCTVs installed in the temple premises. It shows three goons stealing cash from the donation box even as priests try to stop them.

The trio fled after committing the robbery but returned with seven more boys who then thrashed the two temple priests.

This happened in the Renuka Matta Mandir of Kolhapur city, Maharashtra.

An FIR has been filed at the Javahar Area Police Station. As per information from the Kolhapur police they have identified two of the ten goons but there have been no arrests as of now.
