In Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi, devotees were seen worshipping from outside the temple premises, DNA India has reported.
Temples are closed on the auspicious occasion of ‘Hanuman Jayanti’ across India on April 08. In Delhi, various temples of Lord Hanuman are closed amid coronavirus lockdown. Nationwide lockdown has been enforced as a precautionary measure to arrest the spread of dreadful coronavirus outbreak.
‘Hanuman Jayanti’ is celebrated on full moon day during Chaitra month to commemorate the birth of Lord Hanuman. In Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi, devotees were seen worshipping from outside the temple premises.
The temple authorities have also put a notice board stating that the temples will be closed to deal with the spread of coronavirus. Similarly, in Assam’s Dibrugarh and UP’s Ayodhya, temples wore deserted look on auspicious occasion of ‘Hanuman Jayanti’ due to COVID-19 threat.
