Sabarimala temple to open for Vishu festival on Monday, devotees allowed for online offerings

K Sudheer Nampoothiri will open the sreekovil, marking the commencement of the Vishu celebrations, in the presence of Thantri Mahesh Mohanaru, Kerala Kaumudi Online has reported.

PATHANAMTHITTA: The Sabarimala temple is scheduled to open on Monday, April 13 for Vishu festival.

AK Sudheer Nampoothiri will open the sreekovil, marking the commencement of the Vishu celebrations, in the presence of Thantri Mahesh Mohanaru. However, there will be no entry for devotees as part of the lockdown restrictions.

The sreekovil will be opened for Vishukani darsan at 5 am on April 14. Rituals and poojas will be performed. The temple will be closed on April 18 at 7.30 pm.

Devotees can offer poojas online through the portal www.onlinetdb.com. Offerings can also be made through Dhanalaxmi Bank accounts 012600100000019, 012601200000086.
