The Save Temples organisation and the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation have thanked the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams (TTD) for agreeing to construct the ‘Vakula Matha’ temple at Perurubanda village, besides developing the surroundings as an ashram.

Representatives of the organisations, including former Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh I.Y.R. Krishna Rao and former executive officer of TTD P.V.R.K. Prasad, addressed a press conference here on Monday.

The TTD Board has decided to perform ‘Bhoomi Puja’ for the temple on March 3.
