Dr Swami Mukunddas was felicitated on the occasion of organisation of the Lord Shiva Mahapuran at Gupteshwar Dham on Monday.
He was felicitated by garlanding him with eleven feet long garland by Hindu Sewa Parishad.
Speaking on the occasion, Swami Shyamdevacharya said that there is no one like Lord Shankara, who is so merciful. All the deities ascend on earth from other parts of universe, but their permanent residence is heaven. However, Lord Shankara resides on earth at Kailash. When the Barat procession of Lord Shiva was being taken out, all the ugly, odd-looking ghosts said good-bye, but Lord Shiva asked them to be patient and at last, they too participated in Barat procession.
Lord Shiva blessed all the ignored people; Mahatma Tulasidas has stated that there is no one else like Lord Shiva, who is so blissful. The Mahant of Gupteshwar Dham Dr Swami Mukunddas also welcomed Dr Shyamdevacharya, who has been delivering religious discourses. The patron Atul Jaiswani, Pratek Agrawal, Dharmendra Thakur, Ashish Thakur and others were also present on the occasion.
