Tirumala-Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao asserted that every pilgrim visiting Tirupati and Tirumala should be provided with purified water and a Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant should be set up at central bus stand in Tirupati.
At a review meeting here today, the EO said, apart from RTC bus stand similar plants should be set up in pilgrim influx areas including Govinda Raja Swamy 2 and 3 chowltries.
As the annual brahmotsavams in Vontimitta is fast approaching, he instructed the JEO Tirupati P Bhaskar to constitute a high level committee and make necessary arrangements for the big fete.
