Ujjain: On the occasion of Lord Shiva’s marriage ceremony, a grand feast was organised at Rudra Sagar ground on Friday by Mahakaleshwar Shayan Arti Bhakt Mandal.
A symbolic marriage procession was held with band and replicas of lord Shiva and Parvati in their wedding attires. A ‘lagan mandap’ was also set up and decorated in which ‘Lagna’ and ‘Pheres’ were performed according to Hindu marriage traditions. During the procession, flowers were showered by a flower canon. Around 50,000 people participated in this grand feast. Several delicacies were also served as part of the feast which was prepared by 50 cooks.
