Jamshedpur, June 11: Chairman of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi, Dr. Suresh Haware informed through a press communique that the management committee of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust has decided to start a daily blood donation programme through Shri Sainath blood bank in Sai Baba Sansthan Temple premises considering ever increasing requirement for Blood.

Dr. Haware said, day by day, the requirement for blood and blood Bank is ever increasing but the number of donors are decreasing. Since Shri Sai Baba’s glory has spread worldwide, lakhs of devotees from all over the world is flocking to Shirdi. Just like devotees visiting Tirupati are determined to offer their hairs to Lord, in the same way, each and every devotee who is visiting Shirdi to have Shri Sai Baba’s darshan should donate their blood for a noble cause. Thus, the shortage of blood can be drastically reduced.

Dr Haware further said that, just like hair offering is for Tirupati in the same way blood donation is for Shirdi. This initiative of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan which will be implemented by Shri Sainath Blood Bank will be started on a daily basis infront of Shri Sai Baba Museum near the Donation Counter.

‘Devotees who are willing to donate blood will be felicitated by Sansthan and also fast Darshan of Shri Sai Baba’s Samadhi facility will be provided to the blood donors.

Also, there a link will be created between all the Blood Banks in Maharashtra and through these Blood Banks, the Blood will be given to the needy patients without charging any fee’, added Dr. Haware
