The tank at Sri Parimala Ranganathar temple has been beautified by the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department. A compound has been constructed at the tank as a part of beautification of the tank.

The tank, without a compound, had being used by anti-social elements. “The work has ensured safety of the tank and the temple premises,” sources said. The compound would check deposit of plastic waste and other garbage due to strong winds in the area. It has been planned to strengthen steps leading to the tank. “Thick bushes all around the tank will be cleared.” It has been planned to set up a walker’s track all around the tank so that residents can use it for their morning or evening walk.
