Indian Postal Department has started selling ‘Gangajal’ to customers here from Wednesday. Superintendent of Post Offices, Salem East Division, Salem said that the holy water is sourced from Rishikesh and is available in 200 ml and 500 ml bottles priced at Rs. 15 and Rs. 22 respectively.

He said that the bottles are sold through Post Shoppe and holy water sourced from Gangothri will also be available at the earliest. He added that the bottles would be sold at Rs. 25 and Rs. 35 respectively and sales would begin soon. Officials said that the customers are eager to buy the product and it has good demand.
