On 12th May, a Hindu boy Puneet was first humiliated because he had “Choti” (shikha). When he replied, 4-5 Muslim men beat him, facebook page, Documenting Crimes Against Hindus has reported.

There has been a series of attacks on Hindus in Mewat, Hindus, which has made the life of Hindus in that region more miserable than ever. These violent incidents are as follows.

On 16th April, Ankit Gautam in Bichhor village (Block – Punhana, Mewat) was attacked by a number of people with illegal weapons. (FIR No. – 0069, 18/04/2020.) Investigation that took place was one sided and matter resulted into compromise.

On 18th April in village Chaindeni, block – Nuh (Mewat), A Dalit watchman was attacked by more than 50 people. When police reached, some people threatened not to report FIR. Since he had to live in the village, so he had to compromise.

On 20th April, a Dalit boy of Uleta village asked a boy from the Muslim community to return his money. The Muslim boy had beaten the Dalit guy and then went to latter’s home with a number of people. Police complaint was done but police pressurized Dalit boy to compromise and remove SC/ST Act charges.

On 22nd April, Mahant Ramdas ji of Moksha Dham Mandir was abused and his clothes were torn off. When Hindus agitated, they were booked against charges of spreading hatred. (FIR – 129/2020, 131/2020.)

On 29th April, Lalaram, a Dalit of village Ghaghas of Nagina block, was beaten due to some matter involving children. Later, some so called reputed people pressurized Lalaram not to lodge FIR since he had to live in the same village with the same people.

Owner of Jain Medical Store, village Bhadas block Nagina, was looted and threatened to shut off permanently. After so many requests and proofs, Police lodged FIR No 99/2020 in Nagina Police station but no results yet.
