Chhatisgarh: 10 cows died of suffocation while smugglers took them in a truck

10 cows died due to inhumane conditions they were dumped in the truck while some others are dying, facebook page, Documenting Crimes Against Hindus has reported.

Dondilohara jungle area, Balod, Chhatisgarh: The cattle were being illegally smuggled to Nagpur, Maharashtra for slaughtering.

More than 60 cattle-heads were stuffed in two trucks in such a bad manner that by the time police rescued them, most of the cattle were in very painful condition or already dead due to suffocation. 5 cattle mafia were nabbed after they gave police slip during encounter.

Pravari Police Station in-charge said that the cow smugglers were taking 18 bullocks and 44 cows in that truck in a very miserable condition.
