In an unashamed representation against Hindus in a Pakistani news channel, Aamir Liaquat Husain, a Pakistani politician made outrageous statements calling for the dismantling of the Indian state (“Bharat ki barbadi”) and accomplishment of Ghazwa-e-Hind i.e., the conquest of the Indian subcontinent by Islam.

Speaking in a prominent Pakistani news channel, Abb Takk, he made a religiously inciteful narrative of hate, in the backdrop of recent protests in India over the Citizenship Amendemnent Act (CAA).

He argued that it has become impossible for Indian Muslims to practice their faith, i.e, their Shahada (lā ʾilāha ʾillā llāh muḥammadun rasūlu llāh, meaning: There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger) and therefore will come together to fight for Ghazwa-e-Hind.

He continued his inciteful commentary stating, “Kashmir has already been separated from Bharat; now Muslims all over India, including Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi etc are coming together”.

Such horrendous statements calling for the destruction of Hindu society and wiping out of the Hindu civilization has been normalized by relentless commentary of Islamic radicalism in Pakistan, which is a serious threat for the life and dignity of about a billion Hindus living in the Indian subcontinent.

Currently, Husain is a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since August 2018, and earlier had served as the Minister of State for “Religious Affairs” from 2004 to 2007 in the federal cabinet of Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz.

Ghazwa-e-Hind is a notorious Islamic prophecy which stems from several Hadiths (narrations/traditions of Islamic Prophet, Mohammed) predicting an Islamic invasion of India before the “end of times” which will lead to the successful conquest of the sub-continent by Muslim warriors.

Although their veracity has been doubted by some Islamic scholars, the narrations have been used as an ideological fuel by terror-groups to propagate terrorism against India, particularly in Kashmir. This is also a continuation of the historical utilization of Islam as a tool for political expansion and cultural extermination, as observed in the wiping out of Persian, Tukish empires, and the invasion of Sindh.
