Women COVID-19 surveyors attacked in Rajasthan during the survey

Police arrested Shakur Mian, Azam, Anwar Ali, Saeed Qureshi, Chand Qureshi, Farazana, Sajida, Saidunnisa, Sanno and Dildar Shekhawat Ali etc in the case, facebook page, Documenting Crimes Against Hindus has reported.

Kali Paltan Area, Tonk, Rajasthan: A team of COVID-19 women surveyors in the city was attacked by some people in Kalipalton area. The survey team has given its report to the Kotwali police station and Police is investigating the case.

Teachers in that team were Alpana, Sanju Meena, Shashi Jain, Asha Sahyogini Roshni and activist Indra Khangar.

They were surveying for the Corona virus suspect in Kalipalton area and the needy people, also people who have came from outside. In such a case, the names of some people were written. During this time some people came and tore the register. They also committed indecency and beatings.

After this, all the teachers and Asha Sahyogini reached the police station and filed a case of assault against one and a half dozen people.

Police arrested Shakur Mian, Azam, Anwar Ali, Saeed Qureshi, Chand Qureshi, Farazana, Sajida, Saidunnisa, Sanno and Dildar Shekhawat Ali etc in the case.

This is not first or rare incidence of violence in the region. Earlier Dussera event and Kanwariyas have also been attacked with stones in Tonk.
