Maharashtra: A businessman died while trying to stop an illegal encroachment on a parking lot

The encroachers Sher Khan and his father Nur Khan singled out Haridas for revenge and attacked him right in front of his house. Armed with swords, they slashed Haridas on chest and stomach and killed him, facebook page Documenting Crimes Against Hinduism has reported.

Sakkardara, Nagpur, Maharashtra: A businessman lost his life at hands of father-son duo when he resisted encroachment by them on a parking lot. The accused were trying to encroach upon a Bhande plot building parking when local traders resisted their move. 45 year old Haridas Savarkar also signed the petition after which municipal committee demolished the illegal encroachment.

The encroachers Sher Khan and his father Nur Khan singled out Haridas for revenge and attacked him right in front of his house. Armed with swords, they slashed Haridas on chest and stomach and killed him. When the victim’s wife tried to save him, they also threatened her. Abeda, mother of accused Bunty Khan was also heard exhorting her son to kill Haridas during the attack.

After the deceased’s wife Ranjana complained, the police registered case against all three and arrested Bunty from his uncle’s house in Khaperkheda and his father from sister’s house. Riot Control Police (RCP) and additional manpower had to be deployed in the area to maintain law & order.

This is not an isolated case in the area despite Corona lock-down. Earlier on 10th April, the police raided illegal slaughter houses in Sakaddara and ceased meat worth lacs of rupees. Butchers Sheikh Hasan Qureshi, Sheikh Nisar Qureshi, Taufiq Ahmed and others were arrested along with others.
