The incident came to light on Friday morning, where all the murtis in the temple were found broken, and all items present there were stole, facebook page, Documenting Crimes Against Hindus has reported.

Within one week of a Hanuman temple being desecrated in Shamli district in UP that another shocking incident has been reported, where all the murtis in the Gorakhnath Bhagwan Mandir were smashed by some unknown miscreants.

The incident came to light on Friday morning, where all the murtis in the temple were found broken, and all items present there were stolen. Consecutive cases of deliberate sacrilege point out role of a gang operating to hurt Hindu feelings and it can lead to disharmony in troubled times such as these.

The Police arrived at the site as soon as they received the information. An office bearer of the temple Mr. Praveen Hariwal mentioned that since last few days, some anti-social elements were roaming in that area.

Police force have been deployed in the village to maintain law and order in the wake of these horrendous incidents.
