Muzaffarnagar, UP: A criminal carrying prize of Rs 15000 has been nabbed while he with his gang were carrying out illegal slaughter of a calf. They even fired at police in order to escape but policemen chased them through Buada jungles and after shooting and injuring two criminals Fareed & Sakir, nabbed them.

The criminals have dozens of cases of illegal slaughter, looting and theft against them.

Against such organised gangs, ordinary Hindu farmers are helpless in protecting their livelihood and there have been incidents of violence against them when they stop these criminals from abducting and slaughtering their precious livestock.
