O, C, Alfadanga assured me that the other accused would be arrested. I was talking to Faridpur Police Superintendent Alimuzzaman . He told me that the incident should not be seen as communal. He added that we liberated the country but no such thing was written in the constitution ( minority or majority) There is no reason to say anything about this now we are aware of how to encounter terrorism. I asked the Superintendent of Police to take action on how and when minority families will be able to return to their homes outside the village – he did not answer.
Bangladesh Minority Watch (BDMW) is facing intense condemnation and anguish over the incident, demanding a legal exemplary action arresting of the accused immediately. Demanding resettlement of injured families, demanding rehabilitation of Hindu 30 families with immediate effect.
